We’ve poured so much love into planning our garden – learning about permaculture, researching plants that thrive in arid conditions, designing intelligent water management systems, and creating a healthy ecosystem that supports everything we grow: fruit trees, vegetables, herbs, flowers, and medicinal plants. So far we have planted and are already partly harvesting: bananas, papayas, pineapples, passion fruit, grapes, figs, coconut, guava, watermelon, lemon, sweet potato, eggplant, pumpkin, tomatoes, boni, basil, dill, chillies, tarragon, mint, ginger, lemongrass, moringa, rosella, noni, pandan, tulsi, daun raja, , tumalawak, temu kunci, sambiloto, aloe vera, neem, purslap, plantaran, nettle, frangipani, cempaka and jasmine. Our chickens roam around, rewarding us with freshly laid eggs and helping with pest control. Our cats help us with mouse control (in return for fresh fish), and providing pure decoration, a family of pigeons swoop above.
